Default Help identify score please?

I'm working on a DVD for a funeral and would like to use the music from video #8 (bottom right) on this page - can anyone please identify it for me?

Thank you and great to be aboard (yes, my name is Mahler)!

It seems you have to log in, but it then asks for passwords etc.

If you try to play video 8 without logging in, it doesn't want to play it. It simply says "streaming" but then nothing happens.

Oh, sorry, I think you might not have Flash installed:

Sorry for the extra effort, I'll speak with them about not required this for the video section.

Its Samuel Barber's Adagio for Strings, It plays throughout "Platoon (1986)"

It's fairly obvious in fairness.

Barber's Adagio for Strings. Have you never seen Platoon?

It's called The Capulets And The Montagues and it's part of the ballet Romeo And Juliet by Sergei Prokofiev.

Sorry, didn't notice this thread before creating my own. But here's what I'm looking for along with links to sound clips of the songs.

There are these two pieces from Schindler's List that I could never find the name of. They aren't on the soundtrack or even on the listings of popular music from the movie. So I thought I'd challenge you classical buffs to name them for me.

The first is a piano piece that a woman plays when Schindler is throwing a party to celebrate the opening of his company:

The second is the waltz that he and his wife dance to while he is eyeing another woman:

I've been looking for the names of these songs for years so any help is much appreciated!

Hello to everyone here.

There is a short piece of classical music I think is fairly popular that is used in this song, right at the beginning. I'd love to know what it is, though it is not credited in the liner notes. Does anybody know what it is? The song available for download here is by "Massacra" and is called "Apocalyptic Warrior", in mp3 format.

Also, this may be a bit of a long shot, but to anybody who watches the Simpsons, does anybody know what music is used in the episode where Homer joins the navy and when the russians reveal their secret continuing communism and start to draw out tanks, etc...?

Thank you!
