The reason I joined up was because I'm trying to identify this piece of music.....it actually sounds a bit like Katherine Jenkins,....I have 2 of her CD's, and it's not on those, but I think she's released 5 all up.
It's a 667k MP3 and goes for about 40secs, but if you know the piece at all, you'd recognize it.
I could also email it to you if you're willing to take a guess.
I own a music forum of sorts with nearly 700 members, but it's a pop/Idol forum, and as yet, none of my members knows who it is.
My email is..... SimonJackson001@gmail.com

For those of you who've listened to this, are you able to suggest who she sounds like?
It does sound a bit like Jenkins, but whoever she is, she has a great voice IMO.
FYI, I actually made the MP3 myself, as the original audio was from a HDTV loop made in 2004.....I guess Katherine fits into that timeframe, but I don't think she made it big till 05, so it's probably not her, although I won't be disappointed if it is her.
Thanks for any help or hints.

If you're after the exact name, it's Duel of the Fates. I'm off to cry with embarrassment now

What's that famous triumphant piece called?
played frequently in commercials and I've heard it in some movies. Judging from the sound I don't think it's an old classical piece but something produced in the last couple of decades like Chariots Of Fire. I've heard something very similar in several batman scores, specifically the finale in the first batman movie.
Most recognized for that part (probably the ending) that has 3 long notes each going up in pitch. duuuuuuuuun diiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiin DIIIIIIIIINNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNN
