flipSTA, if you can't attach the file here for whatever reason, you can upload it to a file hosting site, like mediafire.com, and paste the link here. But please don't use Rapidshare...their new captcha is very annoying.

The Classical piece at the very beginning of this video gives me goose bumps... if anyone can shed a light as to the composer and the name of the piece it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Greetings!
I would like some help in recognizing a song that is found in the game called Return to Castle Wolfenstein.
Lower is a link to a low quality excerpt from the song.
I appreciate any good-willed help.

this is music from the film 'Gladiator' directed by Ridley Scott. The Score is by Hans Zimmer but he was inspired by a piece called 'The Planets Suite' written in the 1920s by English composer Gustav Holst, in particular the movement called 'Mars' which I suggest you listen to as well.

Despartely seeking a song (I only know the melody!)
Hi everyone,
I am looking for a pretty famous vocal piece, for which I only know part of its melody.
I think it's sung by a soprano/mezzo, and I am guessing it may be from an opera, but then I am not sure..
I couldn't tell its key, but if it was in C, the first two lines would go something like this:
E EEEE E EE D F---- EDCBAG
D E DD DCD E---- EDC C C
many 'E's (or the third note in the key...) in the beginning of the song is pretty distinct I think...
Please help! I've been spending so much time looking for this :(
Thank you so much!

It's the shepherd's hymn (Bailero) from the songs of the auvergne by Canteloube.
I did that without playing it! Which says a lot for your comment about all those 'e's!

The singing starts at 0:57

Yes, all those 'e's, or, probably hight 'e's....
I am surprised that those two lines are all there's to the melody, but it is still a very beautiful piece..
I know this song is pretty well known, but strangely I've never heard of the composer or the songs of the auvergne. I'm just reading the wikipedia article.
Again, thanks a lot!!
