Does anyone know this music?
Hi all
I'm sure someone is able to help me with this piece of music. Does anyone knows the composer and the opus? Listen to the attached mp3-File «sample.mp3», which I «played» on a freeware PC piano ;-)
Thank you so much for help...

the question is rather simple. please name the piano piece and composer of the song being played over the "techno beat".

i am VERY interested in learning to play this piece! my piano instructor says that this song (which has the file name "mozart_piano.mp3") is not the style of mozart. considering that the piece is not played very "musically" i.e. no changes in dynamic (ff, mezzopiano, piano) with STRICT rhythm, i suspect that this entire piece was created digitally which might make it harder to identify.
i apologize to the purists who think that a song like this that is put to a "techno beat" is garbage and an insult to the original composer. i do agree.
thanks guys!

Can anyone identify this orchestral music?
Hi there, could anyone identify the following piece of music? They were playing it at an event we covered recently and I have been dying to find out what the music is!

Hope someone can help!
Cheers,

Is This Original?
I was reading a forum and some guy said he wrote this, but bits of it sound really familiar.

I'd like to know the songs at 1:35 and 2:07 in this cartoon. I already got "The Mountain King" and "I've Been Working on the Railroad." Also, they used a ton of music in this clip, are there any other classical songs to point out?

Hello!
I saw this commercial on TV and thought this piece of music is absolutely beautiful. Would you mind helping with identifying it please?
Thanks for your help!

It's me again. You've once identified the first part of this movie ( http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=4QSPON5IOdw) as Grieg's adagio. But what about the other part (the link above, from 1:35 something). Any idea?

Of course one cannot be familair with EVERY piece of music ever written, but I'd bet he's just channeling Mozart and adding a little baroque into the mix (or perhaps his software is) and that is why it sounds so familair. It's like the song by Procol Harem, "A Whiter Shade of Pale."

Everyone says this song uses a Bach piece in the organ part, but which piece? None really. It just mixes a couple of Bach-like phrases together to sound exactly like Bach.

Truth is, I don't know. But it's a beautiful piece of music and I'd also be interested to find out what it is and who wrote it.

Certainly my friend, I won't be exaggerating if I say that this whole soundtrack (that's Grieg + the unknown piece) is my alltime favourite piece of music
Hope someone will help us.

@ Oenologist:
I know this wont help much but the unidentified piece sounds like Hindemith with a more tonal approach, so it might be Harald Genzmer. I know some of Genzmer's music but the orchestral stuff is quite rare. There are hundreds of Hindemithian composers dotted around Germany in radio orchestras so it might be impossible to find this particular one but I hope Genzmer will point you in the right direction.
