Thank you. Who has produced a good version of this. I've heard some versions used commercially that sounded a little more rich and modern (without changing the music itself) than the samples I've searched out trying to find a CD.

If I had a sound recording of it, I could produce one--but I don't. If I had one, I could probably figure it out! I relayed the notes from my head, honestly...

if you go to amazon.com or itunes, you will be able to hear some snippets of various versions...

no, not the 40th. that's a famous one with some great tunes, but not it...

It's the rondo, although it's not the name of the movement as such. It's more to do with the type/tempo of the movement itself. In the case of some symphonies, the tempo may change within the movement itself, starting out slow, then a waltz-like part, and then fast, and so on.

Yes, that is the Radetzky March, but it is written by Johann Strauss Jr's father.
