It seems to have the Siciliano rhythm to it. I think it might be Faure's Siciliene.

Hi there!

This piece was recorded from a set that also included "Siciliano" from Bach.. sometime back in the 70's on cassette from a late night radio program.
Ever since I have been unable to identify it. If someone could identify this piece and perhaps even the album it came from I would be in your debt. I'm trying to find these pieces of music for my Mom, who loved the music, but the recording is so bad.. as you'll see from the sample.

The use of bass guitar and vocals is very 70-ish sounding
Recording quality is poor.. maybe I can find a better one if I knew what to look for...

HEY! I know that piece!

If i'm not wrong, it's the Oboe Concerto in C minor by Domenico Cimarosa, it's not the Siciliana, but the Introduzione - Larghetto.

Hi,

The first one is Swan Lake by Tchaikovsky - Act I. The Terrace In Front Of The Palace Of Prince Siegfried: Finale - The Flight Of Swans

The second one is the Barber of Seville Overture by Rossini

The third one is the Mozart G Minor Symphony no 40, First movement, first subject.

Thank you motive2002 and fox_druid. That piece (Cimarosa Larghetto) did sound familiar to me but I didn't know what it was. It is a beautiful piece and I'm glad to have it identified. By the way, I found this wonderful guitar arrangement you might enjoy http://youtube.com/watch?v=FZm0ZAkCofY

Here is a recording of an unknown piece I discovered a few years ago. There is crowd noise through it and isn't full. I have no idea what it it called or who it was composed by. It sounds like the opening of some sort of sinister, dramatic march, or a scene from a 1940s horror movie. I am sure I have heard it before. Would be very grateful if anyone could identify this because I would really like to hear the whole thing.

Hi, I'm a newcomer with hopes you can help me identifying a song.

An acquaintance whom I lost complete contact with years ago gave me an album with this piece and any information about the composer or the performer is lost. I labelled it as Debussy as I think it sounds similar to him but I've listened to several samples of his work with no luck finding it. Please help me:

Thanks.
