It sounds like The Swingle Singers or someone imitating them. Something like this:

Default Composer Identification for Sample

Hello all,

Though I lurk around these forums, I rarely post. Nevertheless, I've recently come across a unique sample used by Boon Doc, an aspiring beat-smith and I'm at a complete loss as to what the original sample is.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=P4jAllTGFUM

It definitely sounds like late classical/romantic and I've searched relentlessly, to no avail.

Any help is appreciated, thanks!

This is not a classical piece at all! It's definitley 60s Motown vocal group I can't say which group but I'm sure you sould start looking there!

While the sample is from some popular vocal group, the music is actually from the first movement of Beethoven's 'Moonlight' Sonata, about a third of the way through.

You will find it here http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=O6txOvK-mAk at about 2.08

Maybe it's the film score by Bernard Herrmann(?)

Looking at all those snippets - 'young prince and princess', 'Sinbad', 'Russian composer' - it must be, surely?

Default Need help identifying Italian Opera

Hi everyone.. I'm new here, unfamiliar with classical music and have an odd question.

Does anyone know the title of the song playing in the background of this old GTA commercial?

Click the link below and listen

http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=WUi3davvBmM

I'm trying to track it down right now for a final school assignment that'll be due in a few days.

Thanx .. & sorry if this turns out to be the wrong section for this thread. I wasn't sure where else to ask such a question.

Thanx again

Puccini's "O Mio Babbino Caro" from "Gianni Schicci" - a one act opera from the "Il Trittico" trilogy.

aha!

Thank you.

In the 70's, I was listening to Joni Mitchel, Stevie Wonder, Pink Floyd, and Fleetwood Mac.
