    Default Hello to Talk Classical!

Heey anyone who's reading this post! (thanks for even reading by the way)

I'm a high-school student with aspirations to either become a concert pianist or conductor. I play the piano, (formerly) bassoon, and tenor sax, and basically anything else I can get my hands on . Personal favourites are Rachmaninoff, Debussy, and a couple contemporary classical guys (Esa-Pekka Salonen for one).

I've had so much difficulty finding other people around me who like classical music, but now that I've found this forum, I can finally express my enthusiasm without people calling me weird or boring or anything else. It's great to be here, and I look forward to getting to know some people around here!

    Welcome.
I know about the being called weird and boring, I got the same. But those people simply are trying to defend themselves, for having no knowledge about the subject you're talking about.

Look at it this way: A dumb person can't insult you and a smart person won't even try.
Martha doesn't signal when the orchestra comes in, she's just pursing her lips..

    Welcome daSTICK!

If you ever get into opera they'll think you're totally weird.
