I'm 21 this year, male. Used to play the piano and was in a Chinese orchestra.
I love baroque and romantic stuff, but I'm still very very underexposed. Would love to listen to much more stuff, but I'm a poor student and can't afford to expand my library by much.
I also listen to a fair bit of opera, classical, contemporary. For modern stuff there are musicals, indie, folk, pop.
I'm also from Head-Fi, yea so one of those equipment dudes (and that's where most of my money goes to, too). In fact, it's better audio gear that prompts me to get better recordings and thus to this wonderful website. It's a happy virtuous cycle (for musical discovery, certainly not my wallet) I suppose .
Welcome. There is another 'Singaporean' around here somewhere, maybe your post will wake him up. You are the first audiophiliac I have seen claim that his addiction is virtuous, but it was probably only a matter of time.
Baroque and Romantic cover a lot of ground; name some names, guy.
I spent a fortune on deodorant before I realized that people don't like me anyway.
Jurianbai is another singaporean here. You should pick up the piano again, it helps greatly for classical music (At least for me.) Youtube would be nice to get you expose, libraries have a huge resource of classical music you can borrow too.
