Default Do you know your classical music?

Who is the composer of this piece? It is associated with a very fine, premium brand beer, but was NOT written by the beer company. Name the beer and the lyrics to the waltz.

"My beer is Rheingold, the dry beer, think of Rheingold whenever you buy beer. It's not bitter, not sweet, it's a dry flavor treat..."

I heard that add often enough to remember those words, and the tune. I've assumed that it is a Straussian waltz.

BTW I did not consider it to be dry.

No it isn't Wagner or Strauss. This may give you a better idea. I guess you could google it, but that would be cheating?

At this point I admit that I don't give a hoot. The beer wasn't that good.

Well, you don't need to be rude about it. You are just putting your ignorance on display.

My ignorance is constantly on display - the whole package. My theory is: hide it not, avoid misconceptions.
