We get some notices about forum pages not displaying correctly or that members can no longer "see" the likes button. Forum settings are 'global' for members ... there is no possible way of changing "likes" access for individual members.
All of our PC's surfing the internet are like a vehicle ... they need routine maintenance to keep them running efficiently. Our PC's have RAM (random access memory) that is populated by different tasks that we perform in our daily lives, internet, spreadsheets, email, etc. This is called "Cache". Cache is an area of computer memory devoted to the high-speed retrieval of frequently used or requested data.
If that memory area is fully populated, then data is transferred FIFO (first in, first out) and the access times increase, and that can cause pages to not appear correctly while on the internet. That "cache" needs to be dumped periodically - I do mine every two weeks at the very minimum.
So, if things on the forum are not appearing correctly, or you are getting strange messages about a forum being 'infected' or 'malware warning' ... clear out your "cache" ... see if that makes a difference for your forum viewing and experience.
