Default Compatibility With Chrome and IE?

When I use Google Chrome or IE9, the site doesn't remember my login info, and when I do login, I get this message: Invalid Redirect URL (http://talkclassical.com/)

I can click on Forum and start reading as usual, but this is not an ideal situation. Any suggestions? BTW, it works fine with Firefox.

I have had this problem as well. I think you need to check the "Remember Me?" box underneath where you login.

I had that problem, but when clicking on my profile or anither link within this site I had logged in and it was as if nothing weird had happened at all. It stopped after a few days.

I've read before about people on here having that problem but I can't remember what the solution was. I use Chrome & have never had the problem.

Sorry I can't be of any help.

I have the same issue with Firefox, didn't have it when I used Chrome, stay away from the "darkside"
I've now gone away from the "darkside" and use Linux and Opera
Everything looks better from over the "microsoft" fence

Actually, IE9 isn't that bad--it's way faster than previous versions and seems stable. This site is the only one that causes problems.

Could it be anything to do with your cookies settings?

I'm not sure. I think I'll stick with Mozilla--problem solved.

Make sure you're going to http://www.talkclassical.com and not http://talkclassical.com. I don't know why, but that's what's causing the invalid redirect error, and when you log in, the site stores cookies for the former address, not the latter.

Browser problems are just that ... a "browser" problem ... it has absolutely nothing to do with TC or its software.

The vBulleting software is compatible with Mozilla, IE, Chrome, Safari and a host of others, as well as a host of OS platforms, PC, MAC, Linux, etc.

Some browsers have a "refresh rate" setting that needs to be altered ... in Mozilla it's in the "about:config" settings.

I use Chrome and have no issues check your cookie settings in options. Failing that do a clean re-install when you first use TC it should give you the option to remember your details.
