Sounds to me like a bit of a pastiche. The string writing is very reminiscent of the ubiquitous and overplayed Four Seasons but the choral writing has a very modern feel to it.

That was my thought as well. The Requiem is one of his well-known choral works.

I discovered the piece whilst as I was looking at the company from whom my sister had bought her wedding dress from. If ever I do find the actual piece, I will certainly post a thread

I suppose one way would be to determine what "lyrics" were used - I suppose this is Latin. Is anyone capable in Latin to the extent that he or she would be able to transcribe the words? I suppose then we could simply google for it

Actually it's labeled as Mozarts Symphony no. 8 in the mp3 tag. I looked on AllMusic and got a sound byte. It's the same isn't it? But a fairly fast version of the Mozart's 8th.

Their is a piece of music I have been fond of for some time but I have no idea who it is by. It was sampled in a Des'ree song called kissing you I think and it was in an advert for HMV around valentines day. I have put a link to the music on youtube below. i heard a song on my local classical station, and i remember the name of the song, but not the composer. so can anyone tell me who wrote a piece called Piano Concert No. 1 in E Flat, no clue on the composer, but it had a very repetitive rhythm.
