Default Best places to find people to commit to wild ideas?

Hello all. I've been a member of this community before, but as the username suggests, I haven't been on here in a good long time.

Anyways, I've got a certain idea that is a bit out there and requires 11 other completely committed musicians of acoustic instruments to work alongside myself toward an (idealistically, of course not actually) endless process.

It would be a project which at first appears to be a single piece of music, but one which has, once set into motion the potential to continue infinitely. This of course means then that concerts would simply be a cross section of an ongoing process which continues to spit out new ideas as it goes, morphing and evolving each time and even in the minds of the players when they aren't involved in the act of bringing it into the world. It would be an almost religious, spiritual commitment to a project which called for and so of course I need what would almost certainly appear to others to be a troop of weirdos.

I know that this post may just come across as stupid and strange and more than a bit unhinged, but the question really is, as you can see in the title, a question of where one might look for people who would be drawn toward the idea, not whether the idea sounds un-workable. Thanks in advance for any ideas or feedback and if this idea intrigues you as opposed to making you feel uncomfortable then feel free to PM me about it for a better description.

    p.s.

If this isn't quite the correct or best sub-forum then I ask mods to move it accordingly

Without reading the entire post I was going to suggest a Donald Trump rally.
Inspiration exists, but it has to find you working.

Haha for some reason I don't feel that this would be the best place to find members for this particular endeavor.

Well one time Bob Dylan was on the way to the recording studio and saw a woman walking along the street carrying a violin. He took her to the studio and she was part of his recording session. I think he did this sort of spontaneous stuff a lot and it worked--for him.

I think could work great if this were a recording project (which is actually another side of what this concept involves) but this is more of a thing that requires people to commit to an ideal and remain involved over a longer period of time.

...I don't know, this might just be unrealistic or something that I'll have to very slowly piece together over some few years, but I feel that that level and sort of spontaneity can only work in certain places in the world. In my town for example I never see people walking around with acoustic instruments and if I do, they're still not the sort of person who could really understand what I'm asking of them.

The right person would understand and be willing to make sacrifices to see it through. Hard to find someone like that besides yourself, but if you have money, the sacrifices can be minimized for the other person through sufficient remuneration, so long as the talent, ability and understanding are there. With an offer of pay, you could put out an ad and hold interviews/auditions of a sort. Just thinking out loud.

Yeah, I'm just wondering where I'd get the best results if I were placing an ad like that. In the town I live in ads like that usually get a maximum of one cool person (like you just mentioned). I have no money.

Well, no harm running an ad. I guess if the right person is out there they may be very excited at the opportunity and not require money. Also, if this is some kind of production that may result in future income, that is certainly an attractive feature, and the divvying up of that future income between you and this other person would have to be figured out up front--of course no guarantees of any income.
