    Default Cimarosa Rediscovered

The Tuscan Opera Academy "Domenico Cimarosa" is realizing the ambitious project Cimarosa Rediscovered.
Whit this project the Academy are publishing the critical edition of the operas of Italian great composer Domenico Cimarosa. For each opera will be available in full score, rehearsal score (voice&piano reduction) and orchestral parts.
The full score and rehearsal scores are available for sale on Amazon and on most important online bookstores in a traditional paperback format and also in an economic ebook Kindle version (this one available on Amazon only).
For the performances material (orchestral parts) it's necessary to contact Tuscan Opera Academy "Domenico Cimarosa" directly by official web site: http://accademiacimarosa.wix.com/cimarosa.

    The volumes now available are:
-L'Impresario In Angustie (Opera in 1 act)
    - Il Convito (Opera in 2 acts)
    - Li Sposi Per Accidente (Opera in 1 act)
    - Il Pittor Parigino (Opera in 2 acts).

Cimarosa is worth a mention. As well as the operas I enjoy the oboe concerto, piano sonatas and requiem.

Il matrimonio segreto (The Secret Marriage) is a wonderful opera.

Unfortunatly the "Oboe concerto" is not original by Cimarosa. The piece has been composed by Arthur Benjamin and is based on klavier sonatas by Cimarosa. :-)
