So Ryu or whatever your name is you want people to do your research for you? You're pretty lazy.
I'm tired of these types of questions. If you don't know anything about classical music, then I advise you start doing your homework. Go down to your local library start checking out some recordings of Mahler, Sibelius, Ravel, Debussy, etc. and start listening. That is the only way you're going to learn anything.
Less questions, more research and listening.
The fourth movement from Dvorak's Symphony No.9, "From the New World."
This must be the funniest reply I have seen on any Board for a long while. It's a classic. The script-writer for Fawlty Towers couldn't have written better for Basil in one of his rudest moments with a hotel guest who got on his wick. I do know what you mean, however, but I would never have made such a non-PC remark as it's the kind of thing that tends to irritate Mods. The latter can suddenly appear from almost nowhere, and in a Spanish Inquisition style flurry of swords, whoosh you've been warned. Even the great and the good can perish in a trice.
It rather reminds me of a thread I recently spotted on this music Board over a year ago where some here-today-gone-tomorrow guy wrote in asking if members could possibly write a homework essay for him which he had been set on some musical topic as he couldn't be bothered to do it himself as he didn't like classical music and knew even less about it. The various unsympathetic reactions he got weren't quite what he expected at all. I recall that the lead response was by a chap who finally got banned, but not over that issue. I wish I could find that thread but it is proving elusive. Like the present one, it was the kind of material that makes places like this the fun places they can be.
No. He has some doubts, and he knows we can help him.
You can always ask to have your account deleted and stop showing yourself here. Or even simpler, just refrain from visiting the "identifying music" zone. You will also keep us from reading your rants.
Now, why don't you be gentle and remove your violent post?
Hehe... looks like I struck a nerve.
Thanks a lot guys!
I really like this one.
