There's a competition being run on Faryl Smith's official Bebo profile (http://www.bebo.com/Profile.jsp?MemberId=8493600043, in which you can win the chance to meet Faryl and record a digital single at Abbey Road Studios!
Faryl Smith - she's the 12 year old mezzo-soprano singer who wowed millions with her performances on Britain's Got Talent last year. Her debut album is released on the 9th March, songs from which have been featured on Classic FM this week. She's worth a listen!
The best of luck for her! And I suppose hearing her FIRST would vastly improve the quality of discussion in this thread and immenesely improve the accuracy of judgement regarding her abilities:
Just don't say "oh, she lacks training" - hopefully she WILL benefit from it in the future - or "she sounds nowhere near the current opera divas" - of course, she's 12! I still find it simply amazing that someone at the age of 12 actually sings opera pieces. We do not get that very often, do we?
This is an older thread, you may not receive a response, and could be reviving an old thread. Please consider creating a new thread.
