    Default What is this rousing piece of music?

    I heard this on archive.org video of D.W. Griffith's "Birth of a Nation." It is not the original score to the film and there are so many editions of this movie available that I wouldn't know where to look. The movie also includes Mendelssohn's Ruy Blas overture, but I don't recognize the 2nd theme of the film.
