Red face Help with identifying a piece

Hello to you all,

I have been trying to find a piece of music for a few years now and it's driving me a little crazy.

I heard it on a cheap/commercial compilation CD (unknown). The song had some kind of organ in it (i think it was organ!). The music reminded me of the mediterranean; it was laid back and quite rhythmic. It reminded me of multi-coloured lights along the med coast at night, that's just the impression it gave me though...

The CD in question had a song by Gershwin on it and also one performed by Sinatra. I think the music was closer to Gershwin's style but it was not by him. So, I think it's relatively modern. I reckon 50's but I'm not qualified to say

I know this a very long shot! If anyone can give suggestions to as what it might be I'd be very grateful. It's a really nice piece of music and I just want to hear it again. Please!

Who knows, I may even hear some more great music along the way to finding it.

I look forward to your suggestions.

PLEASE Frank.

My best guess is Aaron Copland's Organ Symphony--maybe not the whole thing, but one of its movements.

Here's the first YouTube clip out of three:

Hi Art Rock,
That song had the right feel but the piece I heard had no singing. This was nice though!

Hi Fsharpmajor,
This piece was a little 'weird' but thanks

Does anybody else have any ideas? I only get the urge to hear it after a couple drinks and that time is hear again...

Cheers

The bit of Gershwin on the CD was the (apparently) popular part of Rhapsody in Blue at 1:30 of

suggestion: at least you could hum or whistle a part of the music from your memory and record your sound into a mp3 file, then upload it here...
"vision" and "hearing" came much earlier than "language", hence, more "aboriginal" and "reliable" than "language".
