Couchie, I just read your post on the spoof-Mozart thread - Personally I will defend Mozart, an astounding composer who was way ahead of his time. He was writing his music before we even had the elevators in which to not really listen to it.
How gloriously witty! :tiphat: You've made my day, and I hope you have a nice day too. Best wishes, Mollie :)

    Hi Couchie,
You've said that you have the Goodall Ring.
Do you have the box or the seperates?
If you have the box, does it include anything beside just the discs?
    thanks a lot

    Hello,
How did you like the Seattle Ring?
    Sans the noise problem :)

Have you really listened to Wagner´s ring cycle in full several times? Is it recommendable? I was planning on doing it somewhere in the summer.

Mr. Couchie, you have stated on several occasions that you enjoy the music of Johann Sebastian Bach. Pray tell me, which Brandenburg Concerto is your favourite?

(I don't necessarily agree with Sator, his taste in tempo is eccentric, but I thought that his analysis of the Siegfried prelude was spot on. You don't hear the trombones in the other recordings.

A little while ago you were perplexes why someone's favorite part in Gotterdammerung was Waltraute's Narration. Ludwig is pretty boring on the Solti. The 1951 Knappertsbusch and Bayreuth Barenboim is much more interesting in that regard (W. Meier is Waltraute in the latter).
