    Hi,
    Glad to here you're ok.
I'm doing ok thank you. Knock wood.
Yes, the lockdown and all of its consequences are daunting.
I listen to music a lot. I guess it helps me get my mind off things.
I'm also very grateful for this site.
    Thank you for writing back.
    Play your fiddle. :)
    Hi to John.

    Hi Mollie,

My favorite Frescobaldi are his toccatas.

Good to hear that you're liking the American game. I'm surprised you're still getting snow this time of the year, but it is very beautiful until the dirt gets all over it.

    Have a good day,

    Don

Thanks! Last June we went to Portland Oregon. This was taken at a local winery, which may account for my "healthy glow". They kept pouring samples. I kept consuming!

The wife doesn't drink, so she was my "guide" to make sure I didn't fall! :D

    Regards,

    Howard

Probably the biggest waster ever to become king with the possible exception of Charles II. The Hanoverians were particularly gifted when it came to family dysfunction so perhaps his parents have to bear some responsibility for the way Georgie turned out. I recommend The Grand Entertainment by Stephen Parissien - a really pithy biography.

Oh, it's too warm for me - roll on autumn!

    Best wishes

There was not much of an event, really. We just signed some papers, went for a steak dinner and left for the Bavarian Alps the next morning. The trip to the mountains - now, that was wonderful. I was planning to write a long travel report about it, but never came around to doing it.

Married life is very nice, and living in Hamburg is great. I have just come from attending a live performance of Strauss' Alpine Symphony, together with another TC member. It was fantastic.

Thanks for caring, Ingelou! Health is really important to me, especially when I'm in school and so many people depend on me for ensembles and stuff. The ear infection went away now, and I feel just fine. :)

Trying to carry on here but my beautiful Mum died on Thursday night after a brief illness. She was 89. Difficult to maintain an interest in things really. but I know she would dissaprove strongly of us moping about. Busy arranging things this week I dont suppose it will really hit us till after the funeral.
Not sure how much time I'll spend on the forum.

Thank-you. That's very kind of you. I like my students, senior science, mostly university bound. I have few if any disciplinary problems in my classes.
    Take care
