Thanks for the info...just over one dollar per Perahia CD is the best deal in the world considering that most recordings are in between 10 and 20 dollars individually. I will be sure to look it up.

I saw you were listening to a Perahia box...what is the name of the collection? And is it worth buying? I heard Perahia live two years ago and have been a disciple of his ever since, so I was curious...

Thanks for that much appreciated - yep there is Zappa influence there - I'm using a Korg effects pedal, my sons pinched my Boss one. Yep has Wah, flanger and a couple of other effects turned on the electric one, the acoustic has echo and more subtle effects- can get a bit carried away with effects at times.

Have recorded some more stuff - but will clean it up a bit more before I post this time.

ah Guitars - Burning they sound pretty good - I had 18 (trying to get to 20 lol) but two sons have grabbed a few of them. Currently, have - in my possession an early 80's Fender strat (jap edition), Custom shop Telecaster, nice quality Ibanez 6 string acoustic with pickup, an old Easton 12 string acoustic with pickup, a yamaha classical with pickup and a banjo (pickup pending lol)

Nice :) I have a Fender Lonestar Strat, a Telecaster, and an Epiphone Casino, as well as a Fender Acoustic-Electric, and a crappy Stagg bass.

very cool my favs would be similar and rate Albert King too. Zappa is my fav of course, the people like Peter Green, Snowy White, Steve Vie very cool but I go for feel players like Green. the list goes on Rory very good- I would throw in some from the land of OZ like Lobby Loyde (see http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lobby_Loyde)
Ive been playing for long time, too long (30yrs+)- will have to upload something of mine here sometime

I think Jimi Hendrix and Eddie Van Halen were the ones who got me interested in regular guitar (I started playing bass before that). My favorite guitarists (in no particular order) would include Jimi Hendrix, Frank Zappa, Bradley Nowell, Steve Howe, Graham Coxon, and Martin Barre. :3

Albert King is a favorite, I love his playing style. Lonnie Brooks is another one I really enjoy. Of course Clapton, Vaughn, a little bit of BB King(I need to listen to more of his stuff). Janiva Magness and Robin Rogers: two female blues singers with great smoky voices. I would say my favorite blues style is Chicago Blues. I absolutely love Rory Gallagher (Irish blues-rock singer/guitarist).

I need to expand more. I listen to my favorites, but there's so much left to explore. For example, I haven't yet heard Muddy Water, Howlin Wolf, etc. That's a goal down the line.
