Thank you. You must have missed the post where someone (I guess) was hinting this was coming up. I was adamant in not wishing to be told. I never look at those stats, mine or anyone else's. While I sincerely thank you, I consider it nothing in the way of achievement, merit, or noteworthiness :)

    Thank you again, though.

and as usual and always, my best regards,
    PetrB

Odd. Perhaps this is my American bias but I find it unfathomable when arts organizations make it unclear how to offer financial support :) kudos to you for helping out.

I've just looked through some of your posts in the "current listening" thread, you seem to love those German/Austrian Romantics a whole lot.

Thanks for the great tip re the Bruckner set, Samurai. I will definitely be checking that offer out. I am late coming round to Bruckner, owning only 3 of his works for years, and works that I highly respect. The Celibidache reviews that have been showing up on Current Listening got me shopping, but they are terribly expensive!! so, your note is very timely and appreciated! best! nh

Thank you for your kind message it was nice to hear from you. I'm sorry to hear you are were ill I have had similar problems in the past and know how awful it is. I hope your recuperating swiftly and can avoid it happening again. :)

I like your Lion (I am a Taurus) but your sword matches your UN and you gave me my first "like" so I always remember your avatar.

Would you be interested in Japanese films? I have many samurai films although they are old, black and white Japanese films they are great. Rashomon and Seven Samurai are good places to start. :)

    Best Wishes,

    L'enfer :tiphat:

Hi, Samurai. Love the DBQ videos you posted. You seem to be a fan of DBQ, which of their album do you like best? (sorry if this isn't about classical music :p)

well i'd imagine it would be fruitful. tubin was estonian, but lived in sweden after escaping when the russians invaded estonia. his music does share that northern feel of scandinavian composers, but of course he was unique. hope you enjoy his music and with spotify, you will be able to access more of his music than i have heard so far, which isn't that much, but judging from that, i think he was great.
