I see you are trying to YouTube now. As an avid YT watcher with the modern attention span of a fly I'd recommend you rather focus on making short (around 10 min) videos in a regular schedule and rather fast streamed with losts of images and other visual elements to entertain the eye. That way you can seem to produce much more than what you are actually producing without risking losing the viewer. Speaking of, consider that the average viewer will need to be reminded or taught of concepts as you go along so if you mention a special chord or technique you better define it and show it on the staff.
It would be thus more practical to upload a video on one piece of one composer or school each weekend and make playlists later.

OMG is that you on the left?!?!?! You are so cute; great smile. Your PM box is full: just checking in to see how you and your grandfather are doing?

On a whim, I've ordered a copy of William Thomson's "Schoenberg's Error" (for $0.01 before shipping) in the hopes of finding a comedic gem along the lines of Henry Pleasants' "The Agony of Modern Music," that glorious 1955 tome which claimed that Wagner was the last truly great and popular composer.

Oh, I only just realized this, but whether you have the DG set or the EMI one, you can't have the Kaplan Vienna Mahler 2. The DG set has a Mehta recording, while the EMI has the Klemperer.

Nice :) In 1.5 years I will be getting one as well, only I think Germans issue it for 2 months only.
As someone who is in exactly the same situation as your girlfriend (it's been five years for us too), I most sincerely wish you all the best!

May I ask, did she get a work visa or some sort of a "bride's visa" that is issued specifically for creating a family? I am just interested in how that works in America.

Yes, physicists love the truth and depth of the basic structure of our world, and I think music has a similar truth and depth. Aleazk is a (older) physicist as well, but he's more on the mathematical side.

The speedrun there is indeed the Gohma glitch to Ganon's castle, plus other amazing glitches, and super perfected and optimized. There's also a "Ganonless" run where you skip directly from the Volvagia fight in the fire temple to the end credits!

My first playthrough of the Zelda games was an amazing experience. I've only beaten Ocarina, Majora, and Wind Waker: Ocarina is my favorite.

No actually I'm a physics student :) I play violin and viola like you. I also do a little composing for fun, but haven't delved super deep into it.

And yes, Zelda is awesome. If you have some time to kill, you should check out someone who beat Ocarina in like... 18 minutes

Thanks for accepting my friend request Mr. Viola! I've been enjoying your sane and clear defense of... continuing carrying the tradition of western classical music and developing it to new places! Just like Haydn, Beethoven, Brahms, Stravinsky, and... all the good composers :)

Sorry to hear about your girlfriend's illness, violadude. Hope it turns out to be the less serious sort & also that you get good advice about it. Sending you every best wish, Mollie & John xx

Now every simpleton wants to put forward his own definition of things for which we already have accepted, and most importantly, good definitions... good god...

Yes, I noticed it was because of that rightfully gained confidence, that's why I wanted to support the style :)

The SQ is sketchy, but you are working on that and I'm eager to hear the final piece. Even in that draft-like state it makes a strong impression, the ideas are very interesting and, most importantly, sound good.

The jazz piece is just a very small thing, with only some interesting things here and there, don't pay too much attention to it :)

    Best regards,

    Alex.
