What have you been up to lately, WV? Haven't heard from you in awhile.

I've broke the 1,000 posts mark, WV. I wonder who else, besides us, has 1,000+ posts?

I look at Britten as kind of the English Shostakovich. A lot of Britten's output was war related. He was very much against the war and music during this period was very much a form of protest for him.

I should have got into his music months ago, but I've been so busy with other composers. Now I look forward to my discoveries.
