    Smile Hi, im new and i need some help

    This Sonata - not Sonatina - (Op. 60 nr. 2 in A Major) is composed by Friedrich Kuhlau (1786-1832). A German born composer who later became a Danish citizen.

    Are you sure it's a sonata? Because at the top is says "sonatina" in Cyrillic writing.

    Here's a list of Kuhlau's compositions.. On this recording (the only one I am aware of) it is called a Sonata (in contrast to the Sonatinas on the same CD). With that said, calling it a Sonatina could be defended as well. I guess on second thought both terms could apply, but I'll continue to call it a Sonata
