Vivaldi, L'incoronazione di Dario I just started going through the "Favorite Baroque Opera Thread" and I decided to listen to one of Schigolch's recommendations from 2015.

Not YouTube, but Amazon Music Unlimited (although I did purchase the CDs earlier today). Vinci, Catone in Utica Maybe not as stupendous a cast as Artaserse, but this performance has a great cast! I'm just playing it in the background now.

Franco Fagioli, Max Emanuel Cencic, Valer Sabadus

Verdi's Otello is undoubtedly one of the masterpieces of the Italian repertoire with three superb starring roles. The role of Otello is sung by renowned Russian tenor Vladimir Atlantov. Kiri te Kanawa sings Desdemona and the leading Italian heroic baritone, Piero Cappuccilli, portrays the malevolent, scheming Iago.
