    This recording of Puccini's La Boheme:

    There are a lot of people in the audience in this live recording that could have really used cough drops.

    Maybe they were coughing because the leading lady looks as though she is better fitted to play the Wicked Witch of the West in the Wizard of Oz. Sorry, but that photograph does not do her any justice.

    My second Tannhauser on DVD and I like it better than the Levine set, though both are very good.
