Default Stumped by this slow, beautiful passage used in Stacking- please help me identify it!

I've been playing a video game called Stacking (XBox/PS3) which uses samples from various classical pieces. I've got one particular sample stuck in my head which I've linked to below. I'd love to know which piece it comes from.

It's from 00.00 to 00.40 then another sample comes in. I don't know if the second sample is from later in the same piece or not.

Also, this is what the progression sounds like to me.

    Cheers!

It's the sublime slow movement of Tchaik 5.
