Hi everyone. My name is Kerry and I'm from Canada. I play guitar(steel string), mandolin, fiddle, and not enough bouzouki. I played (during the early 90s ) mandolin in a national touring folk rock band for 5 years. It was tons of fun,but very finacially debilitating. By the end of the 5 years, I had been forced to sell almost eveything I owned just to pay the rent.I am a member of the 'Old Time Fiddlers" here in Prince George British Columbia were I now live. It's a blast there on Thurs nights. I am mostly into the Bluegrass Music. But it takes all kinds on a site like this one(I imagine... am I wrong?)

Hey, my uncle makes a lot of the instruments you play (guiter and mandolin, etc.) in Los Angeles. He used to work at McCabe's, but now he owns his own shop.
It is our imperfections that make us who we are.

Welcome, Kerry!! I like bluegrass too (instrumental bluegrass), though not as much as classical. I guess you use your violin as a "fiddle"? :P That is interesting, Rhadamanthus, that your uncle makes guitars and mandolins and bouzoukis! I was just learning a little about the bouzouki, as I was doing some research about Greece.
