    On a whim from Historical Wagner Recordings thread I just ordered this new deluxe Tristan und Isolde, upgrading from my original CD boxset with somewhat spotty CD3 playback (I had got it used):

    Handel: Lotario

    Il Complesso Barocco, Alan Curtis - Certainly not Handel's crowning glory, but a reasonable cast and great hip band. For about the price of a beer, I couldn't resist.

    I will give my opinion after... but I know I like Te Kanawa's voice and Aragall is a pretty good singer, isn't he?
