Actually I discovered it some time last year and went through several DVD and have 5 on CD: sung in English, Karajan, Mehta, Spanjaard, and Serafin (Stella). But now I am on a Gheorghiu kick!

In that case, her best two recital discs are: Verdi on Decca end a duet album on EMI; Verdi per due.

I got Casta Diva because I wanted many of the arias on it. I see there is a nice 9-disk set (8 CD and 1 DVD) of her over the years. Not buying it though because I usually only listen to complete operas.

Library sale half-off day so 50 cents each. From the La Scala Collection on Opus Arte I got four opera on DVD:

Lucia di Lammermoor: this one I never wanted to watch as seems a dreadful story, but for 50 cents I can have it in the shelf just in case.

I due Foscari: I know nothing of this one, so will have to look up the synopsis.

La deonna del lago: Think I may have watched part of this on You Tube and got bored.

Lo frate 'nnamorato: Bought this once for about $7 and got partway in, quit and sold it off. Now I have it again.
