Thread: Is it possible to get a notification when "quoted"?

As the thread title. Is it possible? It is one of the only technical things that bothers me on the forum, to miss posts of someone who quoted one of my posts. Could we get a notification, like when someone "likes" a post? Maybe is in the settings somewhere but I just can't find it.

The only way to do this is to subscribe to the thread. You can subscribe on an ad hoc basic using e.g thread tools or you can set up automatic subscription so that whenever you post in a thread you get subscribed. You then get notified of new postings as you do with likes.

Part of the problem is that people may reply without quoting you e.g. if you use a video or whatever) and simply use an @julianoq form of reference or ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ to point to the previous post. So subscription it is.

If you open your personal profile page, you may notice 'likes received' and 'likes given'. Clicking on either of those two will give you a listing.

Sorry Krummhorn, maybe I was not clear enough. I know about the 'likes received' and 'likes given' page. My question is if there is a possibility to receive a notification (equals to the one that you receive when someone liked your post) when one of your posts is quoted.

Sorry for the misunderstanding. At the current time, we do not have that capability. The nearest thing to it is subscribing to a thread.

Got it, thanks for the explanation, I thought that maybe I was missing it on settings.
