    Default Bach versus Beethoven

Somebody said we should do this, so here we go. Not "the best" but simply...who gets more listening time where you are?

They're tied for very little listening time on my stereo.

    Bach - about 15 hours a week.
    Beethoven - 1 hour a week.

Pretty equal. I have loads of discs of works by each, so not even my random algorithm will likely favour one over the other.

Beethoven's works are easier to enjoy as a general rule for me so I'd say I listen to them more often. I absolutely love Bach as well but don't listen to him as often.

Both more or less equal for me. Bach has a more extensive output so maybe over the course of time, Bach might take the lead.

I love them both. I'm not really sure who gets more listening time, but I'm going to guess Beethoven. Probably a toss up.

Actually it varies, currently leaning a bit to Bach, but overall, Beethoven - hence Beethoven.

To me it depends of my personal seasons, but it tends to be more Bach.

Bach has always gotten more listening and probably always will, but very recently I've started listening to a lot more Beethoven after neglecting him for years. I believe I've been underrating Beethoven, as dumb as that sounds.

I prefer music that is a bit louder and can stir up my mood so I prefer Beethoven.

Beethoven. I've been listening to Bach the past couple days but have noticed that Beethoven keeps playing in my head. I guess my subconscious likes Lvb better.

This was not a tough decision, I went with LvB. I listened to Beethoven more, but I play on the violin Bach more often. (you didn't ask that question, I answered your specific question accurately.)
