    Default Mozart or Beethoven?

Mozart - a natural genius, child prodigy, gifted with incredible melodic talent. Despite early death, left us with a huge musical oeuvre ‎of exquisite beauty. Works like Sinfonia Concertante for Violin and Violin, Clarinet Concerto, late Piano Concertos, The Magic Flute, Requiem, late Symphonies will live on eternally.

Beethoven - famously deaf (which is evident from his music) known mainly as the inventor of the duh-duh-duh-duuuuh theme and commercial tunes like Für Elise. Other works include Wellington's Victory, Gross Fugue & Pathetic sonata.

    Which is your choice?

Is it true that the dinosaurs could not only sing, they wrote and sang the Magic Flute?

Oh, and I voted "I am deaf" by the way, as I am.

If I were deaf, I think I'd give up participating in who's-the-best polls and just devote myself exclusively to the audiophile subforum.

Some of Beethoven's works are so bad that even an egomaniac like him wouldn't give them an Opus number.

Mozart, however, knew quite rightly that everything he wrote deserved a Kochel.

lilBeethoven: "but daaad... If you want me to be a prodigy like Mozart, you are going to have to knock a couple of years off of my chronological age, like Leopold did, and then you are going to have to fabricate some of my early compositions and correct some of the others …"

Did he invent it or simply lift it from the 1st movement of Mozart's Piano Concerto no.25 in C Major?

I guess to be fair the poll should have read:

    A. I am a knave

    B. I am deaf

Isn't that "dum.dum.dum.duuuuuum." thing meant to be right at the end of a symphony, not the beginning?

Isn't the start of the Fifth announcing three times in a row:"This is the end, this is the end, this is the end."?

    What a yutz.

Kudos to Dim7 for creating such a fair and balanced poll!

I thought I liked both, but the OP set me straight. Mozart it is!

Top three composers who ever walked the planet. Near impossible to choose. This poll has defeated me. I cannot choose.

If all of the composers I loved were a composer and a half, I'd have a hard time choosing just one composer's worth too!
