Default Mahler 4, Tchaikovsky 5 (A la carte poll #59)

Part of a continuing series of polls, which simply asks:
Which of these works do you like?

My goal is to build a general picture of the musical interests on TC.

Please vote for *all* of the pieces you like.
Options are available for voters who don't know any of the works, and those who know some but don't like any of them. Even "I don't know any" is an interesting and welcome piece of information.

You can still vote in all the previous polls - please do! For the full list, see this blog entry.

I probably like the Elgar but don´t remember it, and Gayaneh is also profoundly OK, but I don´t listen to the whole work. Bellini unfortunately was a mistake vote.

Some of my absolute favourites here, first and foremost the Mahler, Ravel and Bach works. But I voted for almost all.

I knew quite a few this time, but missed one I should have ticked.

Khachaturian Gayane (Gayaneh Ballet Suite on my excellent album)

I'm sure I'd like the Busoni, Ligeti and Ravel, but I don't think I've ever heard them.

I like the random lists you're putting up...but all it goes to show me is my gross ignorance, and the Herculean task I face in trying to catch up with all that must be listened to!

Note to self: don't read posts too quickly and without glasses, especially while on holiday. Somehow I didn't vote for Bach Partitas and Sonatas for solo violin. Me of all people? I love this music, I can play some of this music, and I think it's some of the most remarkable music ever written. Sorry for messing up your poll by one vote.

Trying to catch up on some of these polls I missed.

The night was quiet and dark as I --

Skipped the Bach solo stuff as I am the wrong demographic for them
    Skipped the unknown Bellini
Selected the Boulez with a violent mouse click
    Selected Brahms triumphantly
Selected Busoni based on the snippets I've heard.
Someday this will be in my collection
    Hesitated over the unknown Chausson
Selected the Elgar wondering if really like it or if I'm only remembering having wondered what south he is referring to.

Selected Khachaturian's Gayane for the Adagio alone
Selected Ligeti: Clocks and Clouds and would have multiple times if I could
Selected Mahler: Symphony no.4 in G though I honestly don't remember much about it
Selected Rautavaara: Cantus Arcticus with relish
Almost clicked Shéhérazade unril I saw Ravel. Huh? What's this?
Yawned over the Tchaikovsky Symphony no.5
