The time and date are fine. While the error message is showing I can’t access anywhere on the site to select a mobile style. I’ve checked all my settings and nothing’s changed. I’ve only been posting on TC since October, very rarely on my phone - a 3 year-old Samsung Galaxy S4 Mini and never had any problems.
I’ve no idea what an SSL certificate is!

PS. I’ve tried switching it off and on again.

Hooray! All is well. Someone on Goodreads suggested changing my browser so I downloaded Firefox and it works. Very strange layout though with all the threads shown separately.
    Anyway, thanks for trying.

Could someone tell me how to create the diacritics over the letters of the alphabet? I tried to find in Help with not luck. Thanks.

Just find them online, perhaps in a Wikipedia article, then copy and past them here. For example, I just looked up this composer and copied the name from the Wikipedia article:

    Saint-Saëns

^ that is usually the quickest way.

If you for some reason can't take that shortcut, here are some ALT codes:

Most all PC based windows computers have a 'character map'. Very useful for special characters like the ones you are seeking.

Don't know if right thread but started a new one called "Heatwave" not realising there is already a weather one. Please can you sort and accept my apologies? Thanks

    Sorted. No problems.
Music begins where words leave off. Music expresses the inexpressible.

Suddenly for the past day or so, When I hit "multiquote" on say, 2 or 3 posts then go to post, only one shows up. No matter how many multiquotes I click on, it's either the 1st or last one (I can't remember which) that I click on shows up???

OK, Update: Now, no quotes work.

    1. When I click on "Multi-Quote", it opens up a reply box but with no quote. It's just blank.

    2. When I click on the "Reply With Quote" I get a circular dot icon that keeps going round and round and round and round and round and round and round and round and round and round and round and round and round and round and round and round and round and round and round and round and round and round and round and round and round and round and round and round and round and round and round and round and round and...

I went to get a glass of water, cleaned up a few dishes, came back and it was still going round.

Quote function for me is completely dysfunctional.

I can't reproduce that. Maybe try again when you logon and see if the problem still exists for you.

Logged out, logged in. Shut down my computer, restarted my computer. Still the same. Can not quote anything.

When using the multi quote feature, the "reply with quote" button for the LAST post quoted must be used.

Say you are going to multi quote 3 posts ... use the multi quote button for the first two and then the reply with quote for the last one. That should work.
