I need help identifying this piece piano music played by my father.

He was a church pianist so this is church music, possibly a carol.

"Sounds like the tune Westminster Abbey - music by Henry Purcell.

(Originally the final section of one of his anthems).

It's sometimes sung to the words ' Christ is made the sure foundation'. "
