Default Do You Enjoy The Blue Danube Waltz By Johann Strauss II?

The piece is one of the most popular tunes in all of classical music. My uncle loves it. He even waltz to it with my auntie and lady friends in practice.

What do you think of this piece?

    Johann Strauss II

I like the opening bars. It's very serene, very un-Waltz like actually.

A bit too polite and conservative for my taste. All I can think of when I hear it is top hats and handle bar mustaches.

I do like it but the Frühlingsstimmen" ("Spring's Voices," or commonly "Voices of Spring") stands above all

No really suitable option for me in the poll. I do in fact like The Blue Danube, but I can't say it's "as fine as any other classical music piece I enjoy." But I guess that will be my vote anyways.

I used to like it, but as it was played at every single one of my country's equivalent of Sweet Sixteen parties, I can't stand it.

I like the music, but I don't gravitate toward it. Count me indifferent.

There's a souvenir shop in central Vienna where 'Blue Danube' is played non-stop throughout the day.

How long do the employees last before being institutionalised?

It's alright but it's better when it's set to looney tunes cartoon.

I love it, but only because it reminds me of my favorite film from my formative years. There's nothing inherently wrong with pleasant music if it is good pleasant music.

Indifferent. I have a CD of Strauss waltzes and never play it. It's a nice piece but suffers from being overdone.
