    Rautavaara, Kancheli and Brett Dean.

I've also heard music by Ichiyanagi's ex-wife's third husband.

I've listened to every composer in every poll, but I'm no music scholar. So forgive me, I thought you were making a passive aggressive / sarcastic remark at first.

I loved it when I first discovered Ichiyanagi's relationship with Yoko Ono. Very few people can say they've beaten John Lennon to anything

I voted Einojuhani Rautavaara and I think he will lead the statistical results of the poll. Nevertheless his music is quite accessible.

Only Rautavaara, Mumma and Dean for me, and of those I only really know Rautavaara's symphonies. That said, I often listen to contemporary music, and I'm particularly fond of Birtwistle, Glass, Reich, Lachenmann, Czernowin, Vasks and Curran.

Brett Dean and Rautavaara, both with excellent memorable works.

The name Koenig sounds SO familiar but I may be confusing him with Kurtag and/or somehow Walter Koenig.

Will we be able to couple all these with the recent Nereffid polls and solve the mysteries of the universe?

I typically don't go for a lot of neo-romantic music, but I am a certified Rautavaara FANBOY. I believe I have all of his Ondine discs except for one or two choral things. His late symphonies and concerti are well liked here, but I love it all!

I hope Wohlhauser eventually gets some votes. One of my favorites here. I have three full discs of his from NEOS. Solid stuff in the vein of Ferneyhough, Mahnkopf, etc.
