Thread: Beautiful classical piece, by whom?

A short snippet, its a flute like instrument, please listen.

This is the Sicilienne, Op. 78 by Gabriel Faure (or it's the Sicilienne from his Pelléas et Mélisande Op. 80).

For some reason I always get this piece mixed up with his Pavane, Op. 50 which is another beautiful melody you might enjoy.
