    Question Still-unidentified, unknown orchestral waltz

    I've still had no success in identifying this orchestral waltz (melody is either French-horn or trombone?)...someone elsewhere thought it could be Waldteufel or Strauss but those seem to be last-resort guesses...

    Any ideas?

    Note that the piece used in the original episode clip is a bassoon piece called "Pudding Ballet" - it is not the waltz heard here...

    Sounds like a variation on the main theme from Shostakovich's Waltz No 2 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mmCnQDUSO4I (maybe composed by Squidward Tentacles?)
