    I would also highly appreciate information on whether or not there is a record available with this conductor in particular:

    Thank you YsayeOp.27#6, now that I know his name, I found on Wiki that he is an Estonian conductor and there are also other of his Rimsky-Korsakov recordings available, for example:

    I grew up listening to the Sir Thomas Beecham/Royal Philharmonic on 78s. My favourite recording is Zubin Mehta/Israel Philharmonic ; Leonard Bernstein/New York Philharmonic; Zubin Mehta/Los Angeles Philharmonic; Antal Dorati/Minneapolis Symphony.
