Thread: Who would classical composers vote for in this election?

If all composers of the standard repertoire got together, and they were the only ones who voted, who would win the election? It doesn't only have to do with left-right, but also authoritarianism vs libertarianism. Vote in the poll, and after the results come in, discuss what influence these leanings could have had on the meaning of their music.

The absolute majority of the composers of the standard repertoire are not Americans, so first, they would not be able to vote in your election anyway, and second, they would most likely not care one way or the other.
