Default Time to push someone over the side!

After a stunning flurry of total silence make your mind up time has arrived.

The balloon has reached a critical point and it is now time to decide who must valiantly sacrfice himself for the good of the others. Remember your vote should be based mostly on the threads posted by the composers marked, B.D. rd. 1. and not just on your personal like or dislike of the composer.

Please vote for the one composer you think makes the weakest argument for his remaining in the doomed dirigible! The one you would push over the side to save the others.

This poll will close on May 15th followed by a farewell ceremony for the unlucky composer.

And, yes the participants can vote.

    Be ruthless!

Valiantly sacrifice? Glad to know that whoever goes down kicking and screaming (as surely they will) will still be counted as being a "valiant sacrifice."

This is the only way communal housing ever works, and I feel we're in a startingly similar situation.

A heart-wrenching decision - but we must carry on nonetheless.

wow, those six agruments were strong. It would be nice if all six could continue the debate, but one has to go, which one's time is up again? My vote to goes to eliminate.......

    PS
I have really enjoyed reading about all six of the first round candidates. Job well done to all!

None of these fine balloonists deserves to go - it's that simple. I'm trying to persuade myself that a valiant and noble demise may be a finer outcome than an outright victory, so I'm at present contemplating the paradoxical notion of voting to eject the composer most worthy to retain his place....

So you'll be voting for me then?

I hesitate to express unkind wishes towards any of my companions. Please allow me instead to remind one and all that the world is a better place for the existence of music that engenders delight, and that beauty created for its own sake is ultimately a finer thing than works that explore the darker regions of the psyche. I commend my works on that basis, and trust the fine denizens of this forum to choose well.
    Thank you.

Judging from the poll, looks like Wagner is going to be going over the edge.
