I don't know what browser, etc. you are using, but I can see the videos clearly by logging-into TC via Firefox. If you then want to click through to YouTube, I am using Edge--no problems.

YouTube boxes look OK in Edge and Firefox. Still just black boxes in IE. Maybe a Microsoft plot to move IE users to Edge?

I have changed a few settings. Searching for a solution online does not provide much useful information, so it's purely trial and error. The setting I have changed is the so called WMODE which defines how flash videos are rendered. Let me know if it helped (unfortunately I don't have access to IE at the moment).

    Testing...

Sorry Frederik, no joy. Still just a black box in IE.

I have done some more research, and it appears to be a problem with IE... from this link: https://stackoverflow.com/questions/...et-explorer-11

This has to do with IE settings:

From Internet Explorer, select the Tools menu, then the Options...
In the Internet Options dialog, select the Advanced tab...
Scroll down until you see the Security options. Enable the checkbox "Allow active content to run in files on My Computer".
    Or

Turn off compability view in IE
(my emphasis, as I believe that may be the best solution)

YouTube videos are certainly working correctly using Firefox here.

I still get those syntax errors occasionally. As far as I can tell, it's usually contained to a single page on the forum and it usually goes away after a couple of hours. Changing browsers doesn't do anything until things clear up.
