Hi everyone, looks like a very active forum. Former musician and composer, nothing big. Life long music lover. Kids can't understand why or how I can have classical or jazz on all day long. But also like any kind of music that's musical, doesn't matter if it's pop, rock, metal, electronica, you name it.

Thanks all. I know it'll be trite, but Moonlight Sonata is the tops for me from LvB. Think of the great LvB, not worrying about perceptions at such "simple" music, and just creating what's in his head. And think too of how many of us, first sitting down at a piano knowing a few chords, begin outlining them, maybe discovering minors, etc. Seems so simple to do. Yet here's LvB doing much the same and yet not. Taking utterly simple bricks and creating a castle of wonder.
