    Default Hello everyone

I'm Jesper. classical music lover, hifi nerd (audiophile) and entrepreuner. Listening to and discovering classical music is one of my biggest (night time) hobbies as well as collecting the genre on vinyl. For my listening i mainly use roon for the digital and vinyl for the analogue. The best are live concert though. I work as an investor and entrepreuner in tech enabled services as well as for Grammofy, a classical music discovery app and run a vinyl only classical e-commerce site called ClassicalBay. Live in Stockholm, Sweden which has an ok classical scene for being a quite small city.

Hi and welcome to TC. Think you will love this site and learn lots. What genre of classical music do you like and have you any favourite composers, musicians etc?

Great presentation cbjes. Have a warm welcome to this forum and I hope you find your place in the Audiophile sections apart from the main ones.

Welcome cbjes! Really nice to meet you!

By saying you are a classical music lover and an audiophile, I assume you believe in using the best equipment to fully appreciate the music? Me too!

Please do enjoy your stay here!

Yes rather picky regarding the equipment however the music and the recording comes first.

Thanks! Many genres and composers, usually goes in circles for me (coming back to a few) but always try to mix my listening with one famous and one less famous to explore. Right now e.g. while tchaikovsky and bach are definetily some of the best composers in the history of the world if you ask me i listen a lot to a less famous swedish composer called Amanda Maier https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Amanda_R%C3%B6ntgen-Maier

Yes of course! If equipment were to come first, an audiophile forum would be a more appropriate place to go! However, with good equipment, we can hear and feel more of the music!
