Default Wagner Ring Cycle recording (in entirety) with no singing?

    Hi there,

Wondering if anyone knows of a recording of the entirety of the Ring Cycle (not just highlights) that's instrumental only - no singers? Thought there might be a rehearsal recording available somewhere, perhaps just a piano transcription.

    Thanks!

Wasn't it Mark Twain who said he enjoyed Wagner in spite of the singing?

There is a 'Ring without words but it's not, of course, the whole thing

    I doubt you'll find such a thing.

Don't think there is such thing. The closest I can recommend is Henk de Vlieger's hour-long orchestral arrangement. It pretty much follows the whole story and runs continuously without any interruptions or sudden changes......but it isn't the full thing.

I've done it, using instrumental clips from YouTube. Someday, when I'm drunk enough, I'll post my "Wotan's Farewell."
