Greetings
Hi, I'm new to the forum but have been a classical music nerd for at least 25 years. Born and raised in Canada, but both parents are originally from Austria, so obviously there was a strong classical music influence from them - it's ingrained in the national character.
I'm thrilled to have found a forum where this music gets discussed! Apologies in advance that I'll probably start new threads and ask questions that have been discussed already. Let the geekery commence!

Welcome to the forum, Durendal. Don't worry about starting threads on topics that may have been started before. There are always new members who may not have participated in prior threads, and they will have a chance to discuss those issues. I hope you enjoy the forum.

Saw your Haydn Opera thread and really liked the topic. Do you listen to Orchestral, Chamber or Operatic music? Which equipment? Which media file/object? Enjoy!
